Donal Foley was born in a time when magic ruled the Earth.

Gargoyles protected fairies from goblins. His family was a group of elite gargoyles who were assigned to protect a specific fairy. His father’s dereliction of that duty cursed his sons to become stone and wait.

Now reawakened in the twenty first century where no one believes in magic how is he going to convince his fairy that she is one and that she is in danger from a goblin?

He must do that without falling in love with her.

I have been writing in some form or another since I was 10 years old. I hold a BA in Journalism from Penn State and am an established author of many novels, novellas, shorts stories, newspaper articles and a growing number of ghostwritten books.  I have published mainly fiction, with a specialty in romantic suspense, but have written about contemporary romance, paranormal romance and cozy mystery for myself and for others.

I can also try and be a helpful friend to other authors.  I hold Workshops and Writing Retreats ('Write Now') where authors can get away from it all with other authors to write, think, talk, chat about their work and learn how to become even better at their craft.

My expansive imagination and years of diverse writing experience, along with a strong sense of organization, flexibility and customer satisfaction, have made me a now popular author to read, as well as a great choice to help you write that personal story, life experience or story idea that you have been wanting to share with the world.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, in a suburb of Philadelphia. I am the youngest of four children from parents of Eastern European and Irish descent.  I played softball in the early years and have brought this somewhat boundless energy to my writing and all that I have done in my life.

I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Journalism, having put myself through college by working at Domino’s and doing odd jobs.  To this day, and forever more, I will be a diehard Nittany Lions fan. In fact, I bleed Penn State Blue!  My dream is to get a Masters in Education degree and teach creative writing at Penn State. My oldest son currently attends Penn State. Visiting State College periodically, touring campus, hiking the area and enjoying their famous Creamery ice cream, are some of my favorite ‘Penn State’ things to do, in addition to rooting for their sports team, of course.

I now live in New Jersey with my husband and two kids, in a household that has had one dog, many show rabbits and a few cats over the years. My youngest son is a member of 4-H, hence the show rabbits. After much cajoling, I became a leader for his group. An avid reader, I have been a member of the same book club for more than ten years. I have also been fortunate enough to have  lived in both Geneva, Switzerland and London, England and had the opportunity to travel extensively through Europe, as a result.

I have written well over a dozen books of my own, starting with The Drinking Game, and including such recent popular titles as Blond Demolition, and Which Exit Angel. My books are filled with romance, suspense and thrills. I now ghostwrite for a growing number of clients, offering other ghostwriting services to many others.  I have written a number of articles and short stories for a many different publications. I also dabble in copywriting, including web content and product descriptions.

Writing is my passion, plain and simple. I enjoy all aspects of it, belong to writer and critique groups, and am always working on my craft and helping others with theirs. I have to admit that I have a massive supply of story ideas in my head, and would need to live to over 200 years old to get them all down into books.

When I am not writing, I've worked for a local NJ winery conducting tastings, tours and working special events.  I have also taught CPR at a local hospital, having run the CPR training center for a number of years.
